Abstract

Background and Objective:Happiness and joy are two of the most important human psychological needs which have a major influence in the formation of character and the physical and mental health. Among the factors affecting job motivation can be noted vigorously at work, purpose of this study was to assess investigate the Efficacy of Fordyce Happiness Model on the job motivation and blood pressure research staff Administration of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Golestan Province.
Methods: This semi-experimental research was conducted on 50 employees of the Department of Cultural Heritage via pretest and post-test method with control group in 2014. Fordyce Happiness education program was implemented on experimental group. both groups were analyzed  with Job motivation questionnaire and blood pressure measurement and analyzed by univariate analysis of covariance (ANCOVA).
Results:Results showed that the average job motivation in the experimental group increased from 2/50 to 7/56 on post-test and the average diastolic blood pressure in pre-test increased from 8.6 to 4.8, that we can say increase in the average job motivation and reduced mean diastolic BP after the test showed that happiness training is effective in improving employee job motivation and diastolic blood pressure.
The analysis of covariance univariate significant difference between grades, job motivation in two experimental and control groups, resulting in happiness training, has reported (sum of squares of the test of covariance (ANCOVA) 251/06 and to the test f=16/99 with p=0/0001)
Conclusion:Training program Fordyce happiness to increase job motivation employees and reduced diastolic blood pressure.
