Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: The examine Married men’s marital infidelity in Ahvaz city as well as how their wives reacted after realizing they were being cheated on.
Method: This was a qualitative research. 15 men involved in marital infidelity and who had been selected via meaningful sampling method, took part in the research. The research tool included semi-structured interview. Data was analyzed via content analysis method.
Introduction: The main purpose of the current study is to examine Married men’s marital infidelity in Ahvaz
Findings: Among the outcomes of men’s infidelity were feeling guilty, sexual addiction, primary attraction, experiencing conflict and distress, drug addiction, getting back to life, mutual infidelity, harming children, divorce, distrust, nightmare, and fear of future infidelity. Behaving peacefully and false self-esteem.
Conclusion:Based on the findings of the present research, Having released they were being cheated on, some couples try to rebuild the broken relationship and compensate past behaviors while others continue to destroy their life.
