Abstract
Background and Purpose: One of the important institutions in the family is the importance of recognizing and exploring the factors that strengthen this important social institution. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between love components and attachment styles with marital satisfaction. Material and Methods: The present study was a descriptive-correlational study. The statistical population consists of all married people (men and women) aged 15-55 years old living in Songhor. The sample size is 400 people who have been selected using stratified sampling method and then systematic random sampling method. The research tool was Sternberg triangular love questionnaire, Hazan and Shaver adult attachment questionnaire, and Enrich marital satisfaction questionnaire. Also, for analyzing the data, using the spss-21 software, correlation coefficient and multiple regressions have been used. Results: The results of correlation coefficient show that there is a significant relationship between intimacy, lust, commitment, safe and insecure attachment with marital satisfaction. Also, the results of multiple regression analysis show that there is a significant relationship between love components and attachment styles with marital satisfaction. Conclusion: Therefore, the components of love and attachment styles can be suitable predictors of marital satisfaction.
