Abstract
Background and Objective: Anxiety and depression disorders constitute whole range of emotional disorders that have many common and different features. This study aimed to investigate Psychometric properties of the transdiagnostic mood and anxiety symptoms questionnaire (MASQ-D30) in a sample of Iranian population.
Method: This study was descriptive, and 203 people were selected randomly from students of Shahed University . Construct validity was evaluated by using factor analysis. The depression, anxiety and stress DASS-21 for convergent validity of the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) was used to check the validity of divergent. Reliability of the questionnaire by using Cronbach's alpha was calculated. And test-retest coefficients were obtained within 3 weeks.
Results: The results of factor analysis and correlation the construct validity, convergent validity and divergent validity supported MASQ-D30. Calculated Cronbach's alpha coefficient(0/91) and test- Retest coefficients in three sub-scale GD, AD and AA, respectively, 99/0, 98 /. And 98/0 was obtained.
Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that the Persian version MASQ-D30 appropriate validity and reliability and can be used as a quick precise tool in order to measure transdiagnostic mood and anxiety symptoms.
