Mental health is as one of the most important factors in promotion and evolution of human beings. The purpose of this study is to predict the students’ depression disorder based on the process and content of family and problem solving skill. The sample included 260 master degree students of Qazvin Azad University. Subjects were selected by multistage cluster sampling from Qazvin Azad university faculties and questionnaires: Depression, Self-report Family Process Scale; Self-report Family Content Scale and Heppner problem solving questionnaire was filled out by them. In descriptive statistic, Average, Variance and standard deviation and for data analysis, Pearson correlation test; T test and multiple regressions were used. Results of study indicated that there was significant relationship between process and content of family, problem solving skill and depression disorder among students (P05/0>). The results of the study also showed that there was no difference between male and female students in process and content of family, problem solving skill and depression disorder (P05/0<). The results also showed, process and content of family and problem solving skill can predict depression disorder in students.
