Introduction: Teachers of special needs students are an important group of teachers who work in common and significant psychological problems. Due to the stressful situation the teachers in this study to compare alexithymia, quality of working life and coping styles were ordinary teachers and special needs students. Methods: In a causal-comparative study of female teachers in primary schools and special schools Normal Area 3 Karaj, 60 teachers (30 teachers and 30 teacher exceptionally normal) were selected for sampling and questionnaires Toronto alexithymia, quality Walton's working life and coping styles Endler and Parker completed. Data using multivariate analysis of variance was analyzed. Results: The results showed that teachers of special schools in alexithymia and emotion-focused coping styles and higher avoidance coping and problem-oriented, quality of working life is lower than normal teachers .Conclusions:The results are consistent with some studies show that low employment and high quality of life alexithymia and difficulty in coping strategies in teachers of exceptional students and therefore special attention to this vulnerable group is necessary.
