Background and Objective: The people's decision-making style can be associated with their emotional independence and their emotion regulation style. Thus, the aim of this study was to Prediction of Decision-Making Style Based on Differentiation of Self and Emotion Regulation in Teenage girls. Method: The research method was correlational. The study population included all female students in the first period of high school in Arak city in the 2015-16 school year. The total number of Them was 4636 person and Among them 354 person accademic were selected as sample by using Convenience sampling method. Information was collected through Differentiation Of Self Inventory (DSI), Decision Making Styles Questionnaire (DMSQ) and cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (CERQ). Data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Results: Result showed that there is significant relationship (p<0/05) between most components of differantiation of self variable and decision-making styles. there is also significant relationship (p<0/05) between most components of emotion regulation variable and decision making styles. The result of regression analysis (p<0/05) showed that 44 percent of changes in decision-making style variable was explained by two variables of Differentiation of self and emotion regulation and in the meantime components of Catastrophizing and I Position had the highest importance in prediction of decision-making styles. Conclusion: Based on the courrent research findings, we can conclude that the use of a different emotion regulation strategies and degree of emotional independence and differentiation of self in people, Can predict their decision-making style.
